Pull up any agent token explorer and sort by last transaction. You'll find hundreds of agents whose final on-chain activity was a Tuesday in November. No shutdown announcement, no post-mortem, no governance vote. Just a timestamp sitting there like a headstone with no flowers. The industry tracks launches per week with breathless enthusiasm — 200, 500, a thousand — but treats cessation as a non-event. It's the denominator nobody wants to see, because once you see it, the growth narrative becomes a churn narrative. A cemetery that adds new plots faster than visitors is not a thriving neighborhood.
